Здравствуйте. Какой частотник подключили к новому шпинделю? Они, насколько я знаю, на выход дают 3 фазы по 220 вольт. А у Вас требуемое 3х36 в.

Привет!
Частотник входит в комплект шпинделя.
Называется Windward BLDC-DZZ.
Его входное и выходное напряжение 36В.

Are you able to control speed and off and on, via GBRL controller software?
If so can you tell me how you connect the Windward BLDC-DZZ. to the GBRL board. Regards

Hi!
1. On / off control: manual.
See pin 10 on the diagram.
2. PWM: using the "CNC control" connector
(see pins 2 and 7). Pin 2 is connected to pin "S" of the three-pin laser connector (through a 0.1K resistor).

Hi Alex thanks for the info.
I will buy this spindle soon but on the aliexpress they have 2 options for the CNC cable.
1 Signal Start and Stop
2 Signal 0-10V
They also say I need extra converter to have 0-5v
I do not fully understand and the seller don't know anything about the spindle.
I would like to be able to control the spindle speed and start stop via software.
If I connect the spindle to the pwn conector on the GRBL board will I be able control the speed and strat stop via software?
Do I need to buy a 0-10v to 0-5v converter?

Hi Troy!
You don't need any additional converters.
The solution I described above, allows you to control the start / stop of the spindle and its speed. The Arduino shield can output a "0%" PWM signal. In this case, the spindle will be turned off. If the Arduino shield gives a PWM signal "100%", then the spindle will run at maximum speed (24000 rpm).

Hi Alex, I need your help. I connect the BLDC-DZZ Pwm pin to the Pwm pin on the GRBL board, but the spindle don't start from CNC software.
Can you look at my photos and let me know if I have the correct switch settings on the BLDC-DZZ.
Thanks

Hi, Troy!
Fit the spindle "pre-enable" switch in circuit 10 on the right of the diagram. Switch it ON before starting the control program.
Or supply + 5V to pin # 3 (green) of the control connector.

Hi Alex thanks for the info, I did as you said but still the BLDC-DZZ won't start via PWM. The PWM signal is 100% coming from the grbl board but it seems the BLDC-DZZ CNC control port pin 2 and pin 7 is not communicating with the GRBL PWM. Do you have any ideas I could try to get the PWM working ?
Thanks
